Speaking in other tongues is important for every Christian believer. It is important that we give our selves to speaking in other tongue because it is the gateway in to the supernatural. A beiever who cannot speak in other tongue cannot never acconplish much in his or her christian walk. The believers spiritual life will be limited.
Let see what the word of God said,
1 corinthians 14:2
_"for he that speakest in an unknown tongue SPEAKEST NOT UNTO MEN, BUT UNTO GOD: for no man understandeth him ;howbeit in the spirit he speakest myteries.
Notice that when we speak in other tongues; we are talking to God and not man. Im other words , God has given us a supernatural way by which we can speak to Him divinely.
Unfortunately, many christian believers are not taking advantage of this gifts like they should and is why they are not accomplishing mucch in their christian walk.
Paul went on to say
.....in the spirit he speakest divine secrets.
The reason why no man understands you when you speak in other tongue is because you are speaking divine secret with the father. Even satan does not understands you also. That is why he fights it every way he can. He doesn't feel confortable at all when he sees you speaking in tongue.
So always speak directly to God every day by always praying in other tongue everyday!
